One of the hardest things for people to do is get visitors to their site. At the end of the day you really only have two options.
You can go the free route or the paid route. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
When I first started and even now, I prefer to use as many free methods as I can. One of the best ways to get targeted website traffic is through SEO.
This simply means that the majority of traffic will come from searches made through Google, Yahoo and other search engines.
In order to be good at getting free SEO traffic however, you will need to be on the first page of Google. One of the hardest parts of SEO marketing, is getting back-links.
While there are other factors at play, ranking well in the search engines boils down to a popularity contest. The website that has the most links pointing to it will for the most part rank higher than a site with less links pointing to it.
For example, say we have two websites that are in the running niche. For the sake of simplicity we will call them site A and site B. Let’s say both sites cover the topic of running extensively. So how do you decide which ranks better? This is where backlinks come into play. If site A has more websites pointing back to it, it will outrank site B, simple as that.
As you may know or not know, getting backlinks can be a pain. Two services that I found very useful in getting backlinks are the free traffic system and ezarticlelink.
I’m not going to go too much into detail about them because I already have written a review of ezarticlelink which can be found here
Here is how both programs work:
- You write an article that is a minimum of 250 words long
- Spin the article to be 30% unique
- choose the keywords you are targeting
- select the category your article fits in
- submit
Each article you submit to free traffic system will get you 2 links per article submitted to 30 blogs (for free members)
Each article submitted to ezarticlelink will get you 3 links per article and 100-200 backlinks.
A note about free traffic system: They use their own propietary spin syntax but have no spinner. You have to buy one or find a spinner that supports their syntax. They recommend magic article rewriter. I forget how much it costs but it’s around $47 dollars.
Ezarticle link has their own spinner which works great and is available to both free and paid members.
What I do is use magic article rewriter to spin my article and then change the syntax to whichever service I am going to submit. This way I can submit the same spun article to both services! ;p
There you have it, two services that can help you improve your search engine rankings. One thing to keep in mind, is that some keywords are going to be harder to rank for than others.
Before choosing a keyword to target, make sure that it receives a decent amount of traffic. It takes time to see results with SEO. It is to your advantage that you take the time to properly research keywords in order to avoid going after keywords that are too competitive.
Good luck and I hope these two services help you in the SERPS!
