I don’t know about you guys, but when I first started out I was having the hardest time finding a way to make money online. The courses I purchased were utterly useless. They fell into one of two categories, they were either a complete scam, or they just presented ideas with no help on how to start.

While my journey online has been a rough one, I have learned a lot and hope to continue to expand my knowledge on the subject. I wanted to write this blog post to recommend a course that I feel will be very helpful for those of you just starting out online. The course In question is titled Google Sniper.

In this course, George (the creator of the program) will guide you in how to start making money online.

Let me be the first to tell you that there is no secret formula in the course. In fact, there is no such thing as a magic bullet or a short cut to making money online. The sooner you get that into your mind, the sooner you can start developing a game plan to conquer the internet ;p

As you will see in the course, George will tell you that the key to making money online, is finding a proven system and scaling it. This is exactly what he did, and how he manages to make $20k a month from this method. But enough about how much money he makes, the question is, if this method can be applied by everyone with the same success.

The answer to that question is Of Course ;p. Like I said the method is very simple. The question is, how many of you will put it into practice??

• Finding a market/product to promote

I recently purchased a course that discussed the money making opportunities present thanks to revenue share web2.0 sites.

One of the main web2.0 properties discussed in the course, was a website called Xomba.

So what exactly is Xomba? Well it turns out that Xomba is a “news” driven community. It works in a show and tell format. In other words you can write about anything that you care to write about.

What you choose to write will either be a Xombyte or a Xomblurb. A Xombyte is to be a minimum of 150 words, while a Xomblurb is to be a minimum of 50 words.

So how do you make money with Xomba? As stated above, Xomba is a revenue sharing site. It uses Adsense as its platform. If you want to get paid for the articles you submit, you will want to enter your Google Adsense publisher ID (this is free to do, all you need to do is set up a google adsense account which is also free)

Once you have placed your Adsense publisher ID, you will participate in the 50/50 revenue share program that Xomba has in place. The Adsense Ads on the site will essentially have your publisher ID half of the times they are shown. For example, if you article is read 100 times, your Adsense Ads were shown 50 times.

As many of you know, Adsense pays for clicks to the ads not per impression. The more views your article/content gets, the higher the chance that someone will click on it.

Is this profitable? I signed up with Xomba a little over a week ago. The first day, I made $4.75 off of two clicks to my Ads. I have not made any money since. The profitability of the platform really depends on how much traffic your articles get. There are many Xomba users that make thousands a month with Xomba as their main income source. It’s possible, it’s just a matter of writing effortlessly and efficiently. Of course, you can always outsource the writing. I don’t recommend this until you at least start to see some return on investment.

A note about Adsense: The amount of money you receive per Ad click with Adsense depends on the keyword you are targeting. Some keywords are worth 1 penny while others are worth up to $10 or more. It is in your best interest that you target keywords that have high paying.

Xomba is a free service. Success really depends on the effort that you put into it. I wish everyone who tries this venture out, much success!

I know it’s a bit early but due to time constraints, here is my review of the link building service known as ezarticlelink. As stated in a previous post, I have been a beta member of this service for a little over two months now. Public launch will be on the 22nd of February for those of you interested in trying the service out.

What is ezarticlelink?

For those of you that don’t know,  ezarticlelink is a new service by Kenneth Koh that combines article networks with linkbuilding. You essentially get rewarded with backlinks for writing articles and submitting them to the Article Network.

There are two memberships for this service. Silver, which will be free, and Gold, which will be paid. There are several differences between the two. The main difference, is that with the gold membership you get an additional 100 backlinks to use as you wish for every article you write. An added bonus for gold members, is that they can build backlinks to their social media sites like blogger, squidoo among others.

How does the link-building work?

Each article written, will equal 100-200 backlinks for free members, and 200-300- backlinks for payed members. One of the better features of the service, is that you are allowed to deep link. This means that you can point the links in your article to any page in your website. This is great for increasing page rank for your other pages.

What you are receiving are one way backlinks to any page on your websites that you desire. As many of you may know, backlinks are the key to high rankings in the search engines.

A neat feature found in ezarticlelink, is that they also build links to the article networks in which your articles are posted. This means that as the authority of these sites grows, so will the link juice being sent to your sites. It really is a powerful feature that has long term potential.

What is the Article Network part of this? Each member will be given video instructions on setting up an article network for every domain they wish to include in the network. Once this step is complete, you essentially have created an article directory similar to ezinearticles and goarticles. Like these services, your article directory will receive articles from all kinds of topics. The articles will be written and submitted by ezarticlelink members. They are then reviewed by the ezarticlelink editors. Once approved, they are published into hundreds of article directories in the network (note that articles will not be published to all directories in one day, but in a natural fashion).

How does the article writing work? If you have submitted articles to ezinearticles or goarticles, you may be familiar with the process. You are essentially given a title, summary, a body, and the category in which the article will be placed. There is no resource box because you are allowed 3 anchor text keywords within the article body. Articles are to be a minimum of 250 words long. Where ezarticlelink is a little different is in the process that follows. After the above steps are completed you will be required to spin the article so that it is at least 30% unique.

How does the article spinning work? The article spinning interface is pretty easy to execute. You highlight the word you want to change, select the synonyms you want to use and hit submit and you are done. There is a button that will let you know how many words you need to be able to submit the article.

*For those not familiar with spinning: Spinning is the process of rewording an article for the purpose of article marketing (poor definition I know =/) For example: I hope this review is helpful. If I want the word “helpful” to vary every time the article is published, I would include the word like this: I hope this review is [helpful|beneficial|useful|of great value]. Because I put 4 words in the brackets, there is a 25% chance that when my article is published, the word helpful will appear ( I hope I didn’t confuse anyone here)

Pros:

• Getting Backlinks is very rewarding (it can be hard to get them without this service)
• Built in outsourcing feature to outsource your article writing
• In house article writers for those that have minimal articles to write
• 100 bonus backlinks for each article written (paid members only)
• Great way to monetize with adsense
• Backlink renewal if dead backlinks are found (paid members only)
• Backlinking to internal pages is allowed
• Backlinking to social sites like blogger and squidoo is  allowed (paid members only)
• starting to see my articles in my google webmasters back office! ;p
• potential here is huge

Cons:

• Article spinning can take a while (takes me about 30 minutes)
• thesaurus provided with the spinner could be a bit better
• minimal html required to set up article directory (they offered free setup for beta members for a limited time, this may be the case during launch period)
• keyword competition check feature conflicts with market samurai and keyword blueprint results (I don’t use this feature much)

I hope this review was helpful for those of you interested in ezarticlelink. As stated above, there will be free and paid memberships. Go ahead and give it a try, if you like what you see, feel free to upgrade.

The money making opportunities present thanks to the internet are limitless. The problem lies with finding the right place to start. It is easy to become overwhelmed with all of the information that exists regarding money making opportunities.

Add that to the fact that the internet is filled with countless scams, and you may find yourself at a disadvantage.

When I first started out, I had no idea where to begin.  I purchased course after course only to find that the information provided was presented poorly, or my knowledge in the subject was lacking.

I have purchased numerous products where I was completely lost, and did not understand the subject matter. In fact even now I find myself facing the same problems. While my knowledge in internet marketing has grown, I still find it difficult to find a clear cut path to success.

And by beginner I mean beginner. This is not an intermediate or advanced course. What is covered, is very basic in nature and is designed to get you to earn your first dollars online. If you are already making money online then this course is probably not for you.

Those four modules are broken down further to explain the process behind them. For example, the getting traffic module explains potential traffic generating methods including: PPC, Article Marketing, Social Bookmarking, how to do SEO, how to do keyword research, what backlinks are and how to get them and much more.

One of the best things about the course, is that they explain what each term means. If you have never heard of the terms SEO, social media or backlinks it’s okay because it is all covered in the course.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the program. Keep in mind, while the material presented is proven and known to work, it will only be effective if you take action. Times are tough and many of you may be looking for ways to earn money now with little investment if possible. Unfortunately the majority of legitimate make money programs out there require time and effort.  Not only that but actual results won’t show up right away.

Pay per click is an option for almost immediate results. The learning curve however, is very high. This is especially true with Google who is continuesly updating its TOS.

For those that are really hurting for money I recommend craigslist. I don’t mean go out and buy a “how to make thousands with craigslist course.”  You can make an extra hundred dollars by simply sellling stuff you no longer use.  We all have items that are no longer in use and just accumulate dust. Why not make a little extra money by selling them. For example, you may have musical instruments you no longer use. There may be furniture that you have just replaced. Consider looking at your electronic devices which you no longer use. The deeper you dig, the more itmes you will find.

Another immediate source of income is free lancing. The hurdle with freelancing, is that it may take a while for others to trust you. This can result in few jobs for you from the get go. To overcome this have sample work ready for display for potential employers and make sure your rates are competitive. As you establish credibility you may begin to charge more. For freelancing jobs be sure to visit places like elance, and rentacoder. These are two well known services. With freelancing, the possibilities are endless. Consider your talents and if you feel you have none, there is always writing. Many make anywhere from 2 to 15 dollars per article written through these services. Remember that as your name and credibility grows, so does your paycheck.

Now On To The Good Stuff

In a nutshell:

1. Find keywords with high search volumes and low search competition
2. Find a dropshipper or use their dropshipping service
3. Use their template or build your own site
4. set your prices and publish your site
5. link build to get top rankings
6. Get payed

That is how the system works. Your success and ease of execution will vary greatly depending on your skill level. For example you may not know a thing about keyword research so you may have to spend some more time on that than others.

The reason I’m telling you about this is because the course is being revamped. I am a member of Tim and Steve Godfrey’s monthly marketing course titled The IM advantage.

They have notified us that the course will be re released this coming January and that it will come included with tools they have developed to help streamline the whole process.
